Terms, Conditions and Cancellations
1. Introduction
At Sally Kilner Pilates, by joining my Pilates, you are acknowledging that you have read and accepted the Terms, Conditions and Cancellations.
These Terms, Conditions and Cancellations outline that you agree to participating in classes that are not against medical advice. Also, that you are responsible for an advance payment of classes as per the below booking system regardless if you cannot attend once you have reserved a mat.
2. Participating in my Pilates
At Sally Kilner Pilates, classes are group face to face, group online or 1:1. All clients must fill in an enrolment form that provides personal details, emergency contact details, medical matters and reasons for joining Pilates.
You may need permission from your GP or medical practitioner if you have had a recent change in your health or as a result of an injury or illness. If deemed necessary, permission will be sought by your GP or medical practitioner to practice Pilates before you can continue.
By participating in Sally Kilner Pilates, you are agreeing that you are healthy and fit to participate. You are agreeing to pause any exercise that causes you pain and by taking a class you are not going against the guidance of your GP or health practitioner.

3. Default class for ongoing clients
You will be assigned a default class, meaning that you are registered for a class level. You will not be assigned a class if you opt for one-off classes. If one week you are not able to make the default class, you can swap to another class within the block where there is availability. A default class does not mean your place is reserved for the block.
4. Block booking
6-week block dates are set and communicated with you. It is a programme of classes that advance week on week providing consistent teaching to ensure you achieve the best results. A date is set to reserve your mat with payment. After that date, available mats are released as swaps and to those on a waiting list.
Reservation is secure only once payment is made.
5. One off class (with a request to book classes ad hoc in advance)
If block booking does not suit you, you can opt for one off classes from 1 to more classes booked adhoc. This still requires you to request and book a class where there is available. I cannot accommodate drop-ins without an advance booking.
6. Payment and refunds
A payment is made by BACS, cheque or cash prior to the date to book by, minus the number of classes you will not attend within the block. Once a payment is made, there will be no refund if you miss a class, this includes if you inform me prior that you cannot make a session or if you have an injury, illness or medical appointment. I understand emergencies can happen but a refund is not given in emergency situations. There is no carry forward of classes or payment to a new block.
If payment is not paid, all further classes you have expressed an interest to attend will not be saved for you. It may mean your preferred class will be taken by a swap or someone on the waiting list. If classes are regularly left unpaid (regular means more than one occurrence), Sally Kilner Pilates may take the decision to cancel all further classes.
7. Swapping classes
If on the approach to your class or on the day, you cannot make the class, you can swap into any other available class within the block. If it is a swap from a group online to a group face to face class (studio), you will need to pay the difference. If you are swapping from a face to face class to a group online class, there is no refund of the difference.
8. Cancellations
If you cancel a class after the date has passed for booking, there is no refund as you have reserved the mat. You can swap into another available class within the block (above-mentioned).
1 to 1’s
9. Cancellations
You can cancel a class 24 hours prior. Within 24 hours, full payment will be taken.
Terms, conditions and cancellations will be reviewed annually (Oct 25) or if there needs to be changes to reflect new ways of working and good working practices.
