​"When I turned 76 I still felt quite fit.  To maintain flexibility I decided to try Pilates.   

​

While Pilates is not an energetic form of exercise, it does test me. Sally is always careful to stress that movement must be within your personal range. I have had lower back problems in the past, and have a slightly weak shoulder from a fall. But these are allowed for and I feel that those problems are definitely lessening.   And I just feel good.

I certainly do feel better for my classes and look forward to them each week.   I can say that neither age nor fitness (or the lack thereof) need be a barrier to trying Pilates – I am glad that I did."
